How would you define yourself?
I’m still working on it! But I find myself constantly trying to do and learn a lot of things that I’m fascinated by. It’s a simple philosophy; if somebody can do it, then I can. If nobody can do it, then I must.

First thing you do when you wake up?
I am constantly dreaming, asleep or awake. So the first thing I do when I wake up is always a reality check. But most of the time, it’s usually cursing myself for sleeping really late the previous night. Story
of my life!

Last thing you do before you sleep?
I ponder about things that I saw or heard and start constructing my own version of it, in my head. There’s an unexplainable pleasure in being original… so there, now you understand why I end up sleeping late.

Your perfect holiday destination?
As a touring musician, I’ve been to some of the most picturesque places in the world. But I’ve always wanted to explore India more. Also, to me, the perfect holiday is as much the company as it is the place.

If you were chilling all alone, you would?
Possibly program some music or do some woodwork. In all probability though, I’d be asleep.
Brands you swear by?
I am not a very brand conscious guy. I love innovative designs that don’t follow the usual trend of the big players in the market. I’m also a fan of mixing Indian traditional wear with contemporary designs and ideas.

Your definition of fun?
Ever been asked to get on the dance floor and after hesitating at first, ended up dancing anyway and feeling glad that you did? Now replace dancing with anything you want to do. That, to me, is fun.

What can we see you in next?
Nothing as yet. But you can hear me do what I do in my first EP that I’m currently working on and plan to
release soon!

Your take away from ‘Sarvam Thaala Mayam’?
Hurdles in life aren’t there to weaken your confidence; they are meant to strengthen your passion.

Your opinion on how women are portrayed in movies?
In every woman-centric movie I’ve watched, I have loved the subtleties that are brought out. And I’d love to experience that manifest in a different manner, one that I might be able to relate to better. For instance, I’d love to listen to a mass entry BGM by a female music director. That’d be something!
